I have worked in education since 1991, & taught at Nursery, Junior and Infant ages as well as being responsible for children with Special Educational Needs. I have taught in the UK, United Arab Emirates and U.S.A. I play instruments, but singing has always been my passion and began singing seriously in a Blondie Tribute band! I am the founder member of Bromley Heath Community Choir, and a regular member of Bristol Rock Choir. Some people know me as called "Singing Debbie!"
I have two children of my own and have left teaching in Bristol behind. I feel I have found the perfect career as a Music with Mummy and Jolly Babies franchisee, and I am often heard saying that I think I have the best job in the world! I am committed wholeheartedly to fostering a love of music in little ones and having fun at the same time!
Music with Mummy, established in 1992, provides education through music for pre-school children. Music is drawn from a mixture of old favourites (nursery rhymes & folk songs etc) and original songs specifically aimed at young children. Class sizes are limited, relationships are built amongst children, parents and teacher and as a result classes are much more personal. Each class has elements of singing, dancing, playing instruments and listening to music: a fantastic recipe for great fun! I can offer a high quality musical experience for your children. I am currently offering Jolly Babies, Music with Mummy classes at Christ the King Church in Bradley Stoke and Little Stoke Community Hall in Little Stoke.
